Club Background

The Association was founded in 1993 by a number of ‘graduates’ of RYA shore based Day Skipper and Yachtmaster courses who wanted to continue both their sailing and social activities. The Club currently has around 130 members. We're based in Balsall Common, Warwickshire in the Heart of England, and mainly serve members who live in the surrounding areas.

Early meetings were held at The Railway pub, then the Equestrian Centre (affectionately known as The Donkey Club), the Hampton Club, the Honiley Court Hotel and Ye Olde Saracens Head. In 2008, along with other sports clubs in Balsall Common, we moved into the newly built 'Lant' which has been our permanent home ever since.
