In 2017 we were proud to be recognised as the RYA Club of the Year for Innovation.

Club Awards
Originating with a Loo Seat, soon to be joined by the Golden Ladle, and supplemented with a golden plated Dipstick, awards in early days were made for a number of varied reasons: acts of seamanship, both good and bad as well as the Fancy Dress which was a feature of early November rallies.
In 2012, as racing joined our activities, 3 new trophies were commissioned and the, by now somewhat battered, Loo Seat retired.
The awards are decided by the Commodore and presented at the Annual Laying Up Supper.
