TRAINING - Skipper Development Programme 2024

OVERVIEW

We're teaming up with the Penguin Cruising Club to facilitate this autumn's RYA Skipper Development programme run by Keith Harding, of Reach 4 the Wind, which will be run over 2 weekends this autumn.

The syllabus isn't intended to replace RYA training courses. There'll be opportunities to hone your boat handling skills, but the main focus is to develop the boat management and softer skills that skippering requires. The minimum entry requirement is Day Skipper practical or equivalent.

Places are limited to 4 across The Midlands' clubs and candidates will be selected according to their experience, qualifications and the needs of their respective RYA Clubs. 

COST

£675 and HOEOCA will make a contribution.
