TRAINING - RYA Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster Theory Course

OVERVIEW

If you already have your Day Skipper qualification, how about taking the next step to RYA Coastal Skipper (Yachtmaster) Theory? The 22 week RYA Coastal Skipper Theory evening courses start on Tuesday 17 September 1900 - 2100 run by HOEOCA member Vic Stuthridge of Second Meridian Training.

The RYA Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster syllabus includes position fixing, course shaping and plotting, tidal knowledge, use of almanacs and admiralty publications, electronic position finding equipment, interpreting forecasts, understanding weather systems and weather predictions using a barometer.
